How to take your measurements
Measure your underbust
Place the tape measure directly under the breasts, flat against the skin. Ensure it remains horizontal and at the same height in the front and back.
Measure your bust
Place the tape measure over the fullest part of the bust, generally at the nipple line. Keep it horizontal without compressing the chest.
Measure your waist
Place the tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, without holding your breath and without pulling too tight.
Measure your hips
Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the hips and buttocks.

Choose your regular bra size, then select the support level appropriate for your activity. Available sizes vary by model.
Leggings and sportswear
Use your waist and hip measurements primarily. If you are between sizes, opt for the size that does not restrict your movement.
Maternity and nursing — Anita Maternity
Maternity bras
Your band and bust measurements may change during pregnancy. Take your measurements regularly and avoid choosing a model that restricts you.
Nursing bras
Measure yourself when your breasts are relatively full. The cup should fully enclose the breast while leaving a little space for volume fluctuations.
Maternity panties and support belts
Choose based on your usual size and product-specific instructions. The fit should support comfortably without compressing the belly.
Maternity swimwear
Choose your usual swimwear size. The design of the model generally provides the necessary space for your changing belly.
Post-mastectomy and prostheses — Anita Care
Post-mastectomy bras
Start with your usual size. The pockets must hold the prosthesis comfortably and the cups should wrap around the chest without gaps or pressure.
Breast prostheses
The appropriate size and shape depend on your anatomy, the affected side, and the desired outcome. A personalized fitting in-store is recommended.
Compression bras
Follow your healthcare professional's recommendations. These models must provide consistent compression without hindering breathing or causing pain.
Post-mastectomy swimwear
Choose your usual swimwear size and check that the pockets securely hold the prostheses in all positions.
Bodysuits and shapewear
For a bodysuit with cups, start with your regular bra size, then check your waist and hip measurements. For shapewear and slimming panties, use the larger measurement. Do not choose a smaller size in hopes of getting more compression.
How to recognize a good fit
The band
It should remain horizontal, in place, and firm enough, without riding up the back or being restrictive.
The cups
The breast should be entirely enclosed, without spilling over at the top or sides and without empty space.
The straps
They should remain comfortable, without slipping or leaving deep marks on the shoulders.
The center gore and underwires
The center gore should sit comfortably against the sternum. The underwires should surround the breast without pressing on the tissue.
