The Anita Care Equitex LightCool 1057X breast form is a lightweight silicone prosthesis designed to be worn inside a bra with prosthesis pockets. Its versatile triangular shape can be worn on either the left or right side, while its thin, tapered edges naturally follow the silhouette for a smooth and harmonious transition. Up to 25% lighter than a traditional full-weight breast form, it provides greater lightness and everyday comfort.
Its soft, breathable microfiber backing promotes air circulation behind the breast form and feels comfortable against the skin. Particularly suitable for sensitive skin or those prone to perspiration, its design provides lasting softness and comfort throughout the day.
Its volume can also be individually adjusted by adding medical-grade nonwoven padding without adding unnecessary weight to the breast form. This customizable volume compensation allows for a more precise fit according to individual needs and helps restore a natural, balanced, and harmonious silhouette.

How to determine your size
Wear a suitable bra
Wear a well-fitting post-mastectomy bra, preferably without underwire and without padding.
Measure your underbust
Place the tape directly under the bust. Keep it horizontal, snug against the body, and loose enough to breathe normally.
Measure the bust
Measure from the spine to the sternum, passing over the fullest part of the natural breast. Double this measurement to get the full bust circumference.
Compare symmetry
Try the prosthesis in the bra pocket, then check the balance from the front and side.

Choosing the prosthesis shape
Triangular shape
Offers balanced distribution and is suitable for many body types. Some models can be worn on either the left or right side.
Asymmetrical shape
Features an extension towards the armpit to better compensate for tissue removed from the side. Choose the left or right version.
Round or oval shape
Suitable for more targeted compensation and can be used in different orientations.
Breast shaper
Designed to correct asymmetry after breast-conserving surgery, reconstruction, or a natural difference in volume.
Choosing the compensation level
Full compensation
Designed to replace breast volume after a full mastectomy.
Partial compensation
Helps balance the figure when some breast tissue is still present.
Lightweight model
Offers reduced weight to decrease pressure on the shoulder and provide greater comfort.
Adhesive model
Can be worn directly on the body once healing is complete and the model is designed for this use.
Prostheses for swimming
Swim prosthesis
Designed to withstand chlorinated water, saltwater, and aquatic activities.
Pocketed swimsuit
Insert the prosthesis into the dedicated pocket and check that it remains stable before entering the water.
How to recognize a good fit
From the front
Both sides should have a natural height and volume, without obvious differences under clothing.
From the side
The projection should closely resemble that of the natural breast and follow the silhouette harmoniously.
In the bra
The prosthesis should fill the cup without creating gaps, overflow, or excessive pressure.
On the shoulders
The straps should remain comfortable and both sides of the bra should appear balanced.
