This third and final article in the The new normal is you campaign highlights 3 of our collaborators who are at completely different stages of their lives, but whose message and reflections follow the same path: the importance of respecting your body and seeing its beauty at all stages of our existence, in order to move forward better.
Varda: host, author and businesswoman
Varda wears Chantelle's Day to Night.
A woman of mind and heart, Varda possesses a contagious energy and confidence that she gladly shares. Her approach to beauty is unifying, because in her eyes, nothing is more flattering than receiving a compliment from another woman.
“I have always considered it important that we, as women, support each other. Not only support each other, but also compliment each other. When we see a beautiful, inspiring woman on the street, let’s take a few seconds to tell her how magnificent and sublime she is.”
Varda wears Chantelle's Parisian Allure.
For many, accepting their silhouette as it is is a lifelong job. So why not help each other highlight our beauty, which we sometimes tend to forget? Sparkling eyes, a contagious smile, unparalleled determination, a strength we admire: let's not hesitate to compliment the women around us!
Despite the confidence she radiates, Varda reminds us that all women have insecurities, which can also vary throughout their lives, depending on their experiences.

“Accepting the changes in my body over the years has been quite a challenge for me, but letting go of my insecurities has been extremely liberating! I appreciate and value my curves and stretch marks. I find them beautiful and I love them! It's not vanity, it's simply self-acceptance.”
Lina: artist and model
Lina wears Chantelle's Chic Essential.
During the photo shoot for the The new normal is you campaign, Lina dazzled the entire team. Her beauty is undeniable, but her warm personality and her reflections on her vision of age and beauty charmed us even more.
For our collaborator with the magnificent silver hair, the discourse should progress to highlight the beauty of women of all ages.

“It always pleases me when people tell me I don't look my age, but I'd like the wording to evolve, so we can say to women my age 'You wear your age well'. I'm proud to be 69!”
The recognition and valorization of women's beauty at all ages comes not only through the wording of our words, but also through the representation of these women in the media. Normalizing white hair, wrinkles and changes in silhouette with age is necessary so that all women can recognize themselves in society and realize that beauty has no expiration date.
“Things are evolving more and more, but I think we could improve and highlight beauty at all ages.”

Nadia: blogger and anti-fatphobia activist
Nadia wears Chantelle's SoftStretch bralette.
It only takes a few seconds to fall under Nadia's spell! This beautiful redhead quickly proved to be a true role model. Her discourse on the evolution of her relationship with her body deeply touched us and resonated with the entire team. We are happy to share her unfiltered and very wise reflections with you.

“I wasted so much time hating myself and waiting for my body to change to have a better life, for happiness to come. It took me time to understand that it wasn't my body that needed to change, but rather the relationship I had with it.”
This relationship Nadia speaks of is one of respect, first and foremost. With this reflection, our inspiring collaborator also reminds us of something we sometimes tend to forget: that we don't have to impose on ourselves the pressure of absolutely loving our bodies.
“I find that we sometimes replace the pressure of beauty standards with the pressure of having to love ourselves unconditionally, and I don't believe in that. I believe that from the moment we stop trying to perfect ourselves, we progress much faster. Since I understood that, I stopped missing out on so many things, because I was just well. We often underestimate how much that is enough.”
