Quick and Easy Cleaning of a Breast ProsthesisCleaning Anita breast prostheses and compensating shells properly is truly simple and quick:

Wash the prosthesis daily by hand using a mild liquid soap or gentle detergent, then dry it with a towel. To speed up the drying time of prostheses with a microfiber inner surface, you can gently pat that side with absorbent paper or a soft cloth.

Never use harsh cleaning agents, solvents, or any sharp or pointed objects.

For adhesive prostheses:For cleaning, neutral liquid soap and water are sufficient. To dry them, do not use absorbent paper or cloths, as they may leave residue on the adhesive surface.
