Size guide

Find the size that will offer you the best balance of comfort, ease, and freedom of movement.

How to take your measurements

1

Measure your bust

Place the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level and not too tight.

2

Measure your waist

Place the tape around the narrowest part of your waist, without holding your breath or compressing your body.

3

Measure your hips

Measure the fullest part of your hips and buttocks while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Le Chat tip: if your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger size to maintain the desired ease and comfort.

Choosing based on the type of garment

Pyjamas

Choose mainly based on your bust and hip measurements. The trousers should remain comfortable at the waist and hips.

Nightgowns

Use your bust size as the primary measurement. Also take your hips into account for straight or more fitted styles.

Nightdresses

Choose based on your bust and hip measurements. For a looser fit, opt for the larger size if you are hesitating.

Lounge tops

Use your bust measurement primarily. The garment should fall naturally without pulling at the shoulders or bust.

Lounge trousers

Choose based on your waist and hip measurements. The waistband should stay in place without compressing your stomach.

Dressing gowns and robes

Choose your usual size. If you want to wear several layers underneath or prefer a more enveloping fit, choose the larger size.

Kimonos and jackets

Use your bust size as the primary measurement and check that the sleeves and shoulders offer enough ease.

Plus-size models

Available sizes may vary depending on the collection. Always check the sizes available directly on the product page.

Choosing based on the material

Cotton and viscose

These materials can offer different degrees of ease depending on the cut. Choose the larger size if you prefer a looser garment.

Silk and satin

These materials are generally less stretchy. Use your largest measurement among the bust, waist, and hips.

Velvet, fleece, and warm fabrics

Allow enough ease to move comfortably and wear a light layer under the garment if needed.

Stretchy knit

Knit fabrics hug the silhouette more closely. Choose your usual size or the larger size for a more relaxed fit.

How to recognize a good fit

At the bust

The fabric should fall naturally without pulling, gaping between buttons, or compressing the bust.

At the waist

The waistband should remain comfortable both when sitting and standing, without digging deeply into your stomach.

At the hips

The garment should maintain a nice fluidity without stretching at the hips or restricting movement.

At the shoulders and sleeves

The seams should naturally follow the shoulders and allow you to move your arms freely.
