Size Guide

Find the size that will offer you the best balance between support, comfort, and freedom of movement.

How to take your measurements

1

Measure your underbust

Place the tape directly under the breasts, flat against the skin. Ensure it remains horizontal and at the same height in front and back.

2

Measure your bust

Place the tape over the fullest part of the bust, generally at the level of the nipples. Keep it horizontal without compressing the chest.

3

Measure your waist

Place the tape around the narrowest part of your waist, without holding your breath and without pulling too tight.

4

Measure your hips

Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the hips and buttocks.

Anita Tip: take your measurements while wearing a well-fitting bra, preferably non-wired. Stand up straight and breathe normally. If your waist and hip measurements correspond to two different sizes, choose the larger one.

Bras — band size equivalents

Canadian and American sizes appear in the first row. The sizes actually offered vary by model.

Cup depth

Anita offers a wide range of cups. The availability of each cup and each combination with a band size depends on the model.

Sister sizes: if the band is too tight, go up one band size and down one cup size. For example, sizes 34E, 36D, and 38C have a comparable cup volume.

How to recognize a good fit

The band

It should remain horizontal, in place, and firm enough, without riding up the back or compressing.

The cups

The breasts should be fully enclosed, without spilling over the top or sides, and without gaps.

The straps

They should remain comfortable, without sliding down or leaving deep marks on the shoulders.

The center gore and wires

The center gore should rest comfortably against the sternum. The wires should surround the breast without pressing on breast tissue.

Panties, shapewear, and swim bottoms

Measure your natural waist and the fullest part of your hips. The measurements in centimeters below are approximate.

Sport — Anita Active

Sports bras

Choose your usual bra size, then select the support level suited to your activity. Available sizes vary by model.

Leggings and sports apparel

Use mainly your waist and hip measurements. If you are between two sizes, choose the size that does not restrict your movement.

Maternity and Nursing — Anita Maternity

Maternity bras

Your band and bust size may change during pregnancy. Measure yourself regularly and avoid choosing a model that compresses.

Nursing bras

Measure yourself when your breasts are relatively full. The cup should fully enclose the breast while leaving a little room for volume fluctuations.

Maternity panties and support belts

Choose based on your usual size and the specific product indications. The fit should support comfortably without compressing the belly.

Maternity swimwear

Choose your usual swimsuit size. The design of the model usually allows for the growth of the belly.

Post-Mastectomy — Anita Care

Post-mastectomy bras

Start with your usual size. The pockets should hold the prosthesis comfortably and the cups should enclose the breast without gaps or pressure.

Breast forms

The appropriate size and shape depend on your physique, the side concerned, and the desired result. A personalized fitting in-store is recommended.

Compression bras

Follow your healthcare professional's recommendations. These models should offer even compression without hindering breathing or causing pain.

Post-mastectomy swimwear

Choose your usual swimsuit size and check that the pockets securely hold the prostheses in all positions.

Shapewear and body-shaping garments

For a bodysuit with cups, start with your usual bra size, then check your waist and hip measurements. For shapewear and panties, use the larger measurement. Do not choose a smaller size with the goal of obtaining more compression.
